Be a Power That Your Little Grown Girl Can Use

When you treat young girls like they’re powerless, you only reinforce that harmful belief that they already hold within themselves. Young girls that are continuously told that they can’t do something, or that they aren’t worth anything hold these words in their subconscious and it becomes their guiding principle.

Defining girls in a negative image is very damaging both to them and society as a whole. If they don’t understand how to love themselves. How on earth will they know how to love anyone else?

Make it a practice to compliment your young girls on what they do. Not how they look or what they wear. Pinpoint their accomplishments and make a big deal about them. If she does well on a test, have her to autograph it with her signature, frame it, and then hang it on her bedroom wall. Imagine how empowered and accomplished she will feel from you doing this. And remember, what you say to her, and how you treat her is very powerful. Be a “POWER” that she can absorb and use for her benefit, and the benefit of others. Build her up to be a force to be reckoned with!
